When I was younger, I had a strong interest in the Internet. I used to play around with my mother’s and brother’s phones, discovering new things on any device that had a browser. In 2009, I was inspired by sites like GetJar to create a platform that would host Java phone applications. I imagined a place where all useful apps would be stored for easy download, by me and anyone else who needed them.

Back then, building a website felt like navigating through an unknown territory. Words like “domain,” “hosting,” and “website” swirled in my head, and I couldn’t find a clear path forward. After searching for help, I found someone willing to build my website. He charged me around 2K and finally made the site called “NS World,” powered by “Wapka.”

I was inspired to learn more about website creation and became passionate about it. While searching for platforms like Wix, Blogspot, Wapka, and WordPress, I found that WordPress was simpler and more intuitive than the others. I experimented with Wapka from 2009 to 2013, but I finally decided to switch to WordPress.com in 2013. I created a website that lasted until around 2018, and it was a great learning experience.

In 2016, I started playing around with WordPress and created various blogs and content-based websites. I collaborated with a friend to develop the “TechCity BD” blog, which was my first major project. In 2018, I joined a job in the WordPress industry, starting as a Technical Content Writer and then Technical Support Engineer. I have spent over five years working at DroitLab and am currently at Zone7. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities to help others navigate the world of WordPress. It’s been a remarkable journey from a distant dream on a tiny phone screen to a fulfilling career.
