I’m a software engineer who moved into technical leadership, and I still think in terms of code, systems and trade-offs.
I have been building software since 2012, mostly for education, telecom and financial operations: academic platforms, billing and payment flows, ERP integrations and the internal systems these businesses depend on every day. Many of them were legacy systems that could not stop, so a large part of my work has been evolving them safely while the business kept running.
From 2022 to 2025 I managed engineering teams at Ânima Educação. I started with one squad of about 5 developers and later led two squads with around 8 people, owning priorities, deliveries and team development while staying involved in technical and architectural decisions. After that I worked as Tech Lead at Bernoulli Educação, leading the squad responsible for academic platforms that are critical to the school operation.
What I usually bring to a team:
Backend development and API design with PHP (Laravel), Node.js (NestJS) and .NET
System integrations, including ERPs, queues and event-driven flows
Pragmatic architecture: choosing between a well-structured monolith and services based on the product and the team, and documenting decisions with the C4 model
Legacy modernization, CI/CD and cloud (Azure)
Working with business stakeholders to turn needs into clear priorities and technical plans
