WordPress hooked me for the same reason it hooked most people: it was the first CMS that let a non-developer ship a website that did not look like a trainwreck. I stuck around because ten years later, it is still the easiest way to put a business online — and still the hardest to keep running properly if nobody is watching.

That gap between “easy to launch” and “hard to maintain” is the entire Pressific thesis. We take the maintenance side off business owners’ hands, hosting, updates, monitoring, backups, support; so the site stays fast, secure, and actually working while they run their business.

Every plugin I release on WordPress.org started as a tool we needed on our own client fleet. AI LLMs.txt is the first of a few in the pipeline.
