My WordPress Origin Story: From IT Halls to Music Studios
Back in 2009, I was working at a multinational IT firm in Mumbai—immersed in the corporate grind, coding deadlines, and tech deliverables. It was a time when I was deeply invested in software and enterprise solutions, but my creative side was quietly yearning for an outlet beyond the office cubicle.

That’s when I reconnected with one of my closest and most creatively inspiring friends—Krsna Solo, a talented composer who was then making waves in both the Bollywood and Hollywood music scenes. Our friendship wasn’t just personal—it was deeply collaborative. I’d often spend evenings in his studio, watching the magic unfold as he layered melodies, crafted cinematic soundscapes, and built complex musical arrangements. Slowly, I started getting involved, helping him experiment with different musical applications and tech tools.

One day, in the middle of a casual conversation over coffee and soundtracks, Krsna asked me something simple:
“Hey, can you build me a blog where I can share my thoughts, music experiments, and updates?”

That question changed everything.

Up until that point, I had heard of WordPress in passing, mostly in developer forums. But I had never really explored it hands-on. Krsna’s request nudged me into that world. I began exploring WordPress, experimenting with themes, plugins, and customizations to create something meaningful and personalized for him. It was my first real exposure to the power of open-source publishing, the flexibility of CMS platforms, and the vibrant WordPress community.

That first blog for Krsna was the seed. What started as a favor for a friend quickly grew into a passion project, and eventually, a core skill that opened up new creative and professional horizons for me.

Looking back now, I realize that my journey with WordPress didn’t start in a tech conference or a formal course—but in a music studio, driven by friendship, creativity, and curiosity.
