    Hi, I’m Bobby Kircher, founder of Papaya Search, a digital marketing agency I started in 2004. I’ve been working in the web industry since the late 1990s, helping businesses grow through SEO, analytics, and digital advertising.

    I’ve been an active member of the WordPress community for years, attending and speaking at WordCamps across the U.S. I enjoy sharing knowledge, connecting with others, and helping people feel more confident about using WordPress to reach their goals.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I began working with WordPress around 2010 after growing tired of maintaining my own CMS and wanting something easier to use. My first project was building a blog for a client that translated their customer experiences onto the web, and I soon started using WordPress for my own websites too.

    I attended my first WordCamp in 2018, which inspired me to apply as a speaker the following year. Speaking and connecting with the community has been one of the highlights of my WordPress journey. I love how intuitive the platform is and how strong the community is in supporting one another.
