Nihad Nadam has been fascinated by his rich artistic heritage and cross-cultural dialogue in all its forms since his young age in Syria, one of the world’s oldest civilizations.
He holds that the essence of life is expressed in letters and words, and that our understanding of the world and the countless connections we form within it are built upon the visual representations of our thoughts, ideas, and feelings.

Arabic calligraphy is Nihad’s true love, and he has made it his life’s work to popularize and appreciate this age-old art form. Nihad is a well-known specialist in his field. He has given numerous talks on the topic and taken part in more than 15 regional exhibitions of digital Arabic art and calligraphy. At prestigious universities and schools throughout the Middle East, he lectures on advanced Arabic calligraphy and typography solutions and conducts workshops on the subject. Nihad is a part of a number of artistic groups and online forums that use innovative technology to preserve the history of Arabic calligraphy and typography.

For more than 25 years, Nihad has worked as a creative and marketing professional (in both Arabic and English), spending the majority of that time in Dubai. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous large corporations, including Adobe, Winsoft, NYU, Brill, BMW, McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, NIVEA, Land Mark, RakBank, BankMuscat, Emaar, and many others.
