Bio

Ahmad Awais is an award-winning open-source engineer and a Google Developers Expert. As a principal developer advocate, he cares deeply about developers and developer experience. Awais has built hundreds of DevTools used by over 2 million developers like his Shades of Purple theme suit. He’s mostly known for his open-source community contribution in the Node.js Community Committee as well as a decade of that in the WordPress Core software (which empowers 1/3rd of the web). He’s a TEDx Speaker, a member of SmashingMagazine Experts Panel, featured/published author at CSS-Tricks, Tuts+, Scotch.io, SitePoint… and a hilarious tech-comedian.
