    Bio

    I have been an IT generalist since the mid 1990s.

    My past experiences prior to running my IT services business, is I used to work in retail, owned a cafe and food business, I worked odd jobs before becoming a builder / investor.

    But after the 2008 GFC I worked exclusively in IT, initially owning an app building business with a partner, but moved on to be self employed.

    I currently build websites / create IT solutions and workflows for clients, Database engineer, programmer and WordPress plugin developer.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I was introduced to WordPress at around 2013, and just thought it was a blog building platform, I didn’t think much of it at the time, and I continued using other web-builders.

    Then around 2018 I was asked to build a website for a client in WordPress and begrudgingly accepting the offer, thinking it was a one off gig.

    Soon this one website, became 8 (WordPress ) websites (for this client). I have since built my own website using WordPress and Avada Builder (My builder of choice).

    I learnt so much web tech just by using WordPress, and I have only recently (July 2025) began building build plugins. I am currently building 6 plugins, with one already accepted in WordPress.org, and another 4 or 5 to follow soon.

    I love the WordPress tech stack, its rock solid functionality, its architecture, and I am amazed at what can be built with WordPress. Another reason to use it is the open source nature of WordPress, the tens of thousand of plugins, its user base and its global scope.

    In the end its a great tech stack and I love using it.
