Our journey with WordPress started the way it does for most developers — building sites for clients, customising themes, and discovering just how powerful the ecosystem truly is. Over time, we went deeper: WooCommerce integrations, REST API work, custom plugin development.
The “Mobimint” idea came from a pain point we kept running into: WooCommerce store owners were pouring money into ads and SEO, but watching mobile visitors bounce without buying. The data was damning — 83% cart abandonment on mobile web, 1.8% conversion rates. We knew a native app could fix it, but the existing solutions were either too expensive, too complicated, or built exclusively for Shopify.
So we built our own — as a WordPress plugin. It felt like the natural home. WooCommerce already had the commerce logic; we just needed to bridge it to a native mobile experience. The WordPress plugin directory was the right place to share it with the world, and the community has always been generous to builders who contribute meaningfully.
