    Business professional and veteran with over 20 years of expertise leading people and processes. I have a specific expertise in both field and office operations. I have a strong passion for software development, mentoring veterans & future developers, servicing clients, and delivering results. After a recent pivot, I am now growing & perfecting my web and application development skills and looking forward to bringing them, along with my years of professional success, to a new opportunity.

    WordPress Origin Story

    After attending courses at Geekwise Academy, I was invited to join a Cohort Internship through Bitwise Industries based on my skill-set and advancement. Our Cohort is tasked with creating a new business from scratch, WP Urgent Care, where we recover sites that have been hacked, are down, and harder their security features to prevent future attacks. During our time in the cohort, we have studied most front-end and back-end technology for web development, including HTML, CSS, PHP, Python, Bootstrap, WordPress, mySQL, SQL, Laravel, JavaScript, SEO and other languages. Additionally, I am working on SQL certifications through Oracle and taking Penetration testing courses to learn more about WordPress security and how to prevent attacks.
