    I build WordPress sites for businesses, government agencies and non-profits. Huge fan of Kadence themes and plugins. HUGE. Finally hopped on the accessibility train recently…loads to learn but am digging it. Will have many stumbles along the way, so please be patient.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I’ve been coding websites since 2007 and tried working with WordPress a couple of years after that, but found it just wasn’t a good fit. Fast forward to 2015 and I was starting to have to turn down work because potential clients wanted WordPress sites they could edit themselves once they were built. I figured I’d best take a look at WP again and was pleasantly surprised to find how much it had changed and I could make sense of it. I haven’t looked back. I was very leery of the arrival of Gutenberg in late 2018, so I continued to use Classic Editor until early 2021. I finally took the plunge and, after a few false starts, now embrace it fully. My clients are happy, which makes me happy.
