WordPress Origin Story

My daughter started her own online business, my wife set up a website for her using WordPress, and found a WooCommerce shipping plugin that didn’t quite work, and pulled me into the “family” project. I forked the plugin, and published the result, which proved to be more popular than I ever imagined. The plugin users requested additional features and out of that came a 2.0, this time for the community.
