I’m an independent maker from the Netherlands with a weakness for tools that turn a fiddly job into something effortless. WordPress found its way into my work the way it does for a lot of builders: I’d made Toombler — a free way to turn any Google Drive PDF into a real page-flip flipbook — and I wanted people to embed it on their own sites without touching a line of code. WordPress runs a huge part of the web, so building a plugin wasn’t really a decision, it was the obvious next step. Learning SVN, surviving the plugin review, and shipping that first “Toombler Flipbook” release turned out to be a proper little rite of passage — and how I ended up part of this community. I’m happiest automating the dull bits so the fun parts get all the attention.
