WordPress Origin Story

Ten years ago I have been doing a bit website developing on Joomla.
I’ve managed to learn quite a lot, all self-taught. When my personal life changed, I stopped.
Ten years later, I had another big change and now have time for blogging.
I wanted to make my own website exactly as I imagined it.
When i looked at Joomla, I realised, that there is so much changed, that it would be a steep learning curve, trying to override my previous knowledge.
So I looked at other options, found WordPress and rest is history.
Great platform, easy to learn, lots of plugins, easy customisation.
