    WordPress Origin Story

    Our WordPress journey started with a simple observation: creators shouldn’t have to abandon the world’s best blogging CMS just to sell a product. We saw merchants ripping apart beautifully crafted WordPress sites to conform to closed ecosystems like Shopify, or bogging their servers down with bloated e-commerce plugins. We already had this incredibly powerful headless commerce backend at Lesuto, and we realized, why should headless be reserved for enterprise developers?
    We built the Lesuto WordPress plugin to bridge that gap. We wanted to give anyone the power to drop a shortcode into their existing WordPress theme and instantly spin up a server-rendered, SEO-optimized, real-time syncing storefront. We got involved with WordPress because we believe in frontend freedom: your site, your content, our commerce engine.
