WordPress Origin Story

My journey with WordPress began over a decade ago when I was working as a Linux Administrator and a client approached me for help with their website. At the time, I was more familiar with managing servers and networks than web development, but I was intrigued by the challenge.

After some research, I discovered WordPress. Its flexibility and open-source nature immediately caught my attention. I started small—customizing themes, troubleshooting plugins, and exploring the basics of PHP and MySQL. The more I worked with WordPress, the more I appreciated its potential to empower users and developers alike.

What started as a side project quickly grew into a passion. I began creating custom plugins and themes, migrating sites to new platforms, and optimizing WordPress environments for speed and security. Over time, I transitioned from being a casual user to a dedicated WordPress Developer, combining my technical background with the platform’s versatility to build solutions tailored to clients’ needs.

WordPress opened the door to a whole new aspect of development for me, and I’ve never looked back. It’s a tool that continually evolves, keeping me engaged and excited to keep learning and contributing.
