    Hello, I’m Kemal CIZOGLU, a seasoned developer with over 20 years of experience in software development. Since starting my journey in 1998, I’ve dedicated myself to building creative and efficient solutions using modern technologies—especially with WordPress at the core of many of my projects.

    I have deep expertise in WordPress theme and plugin development, performance optimization, custom functionality, and user experience design. For me, WordPress is more than just a CMS—it’s a powerful and flexible platform that allows ideas to come to life.

    I specialize in digital publishing solutions, particularly for online newspapers, TV stations, and news agencies. My work includes complex integrations such as newsroom automation, agency feeds, prompter systems, media archives, lighting control, and more—all seamlessly connected through WordPress-based infrastructures.

    In addition to my WordPress expertise, I bring a background in the media industry, having worked for many years in radio and TV as a presenter, sound engineer, and production editor. This unique blend of tech and media experience gives me a creative and user-focused approach to WordPress development.

    I’m passionate about technology and constantly strive to learn and explore new tools. I also enjoy writing about tech and contributing to the digital community whenever I can.

    WordPress Origin Story

    My journey with WordPress started back in 2009, although I had already been developing custom PHP software and tailored solutions for clients for years. One day, a client asked me to build a radio station website—but specifically wanted it done with WordPress. At the time, I had only casually installed WordPress or Joomla a few times, but I had never actually built anything with them.

    So, I rolled up my sleeves and started developing a custom theme. As I explored the WordPress ecosystem, I was impressed by its simplicity and power. It felt like a platform that made development cleaner, faster, and more enjoyable.

    Interestingly, while I was still working on the theme, the client decided not to go ahead with the project. But by then, I had already designed most of it—and something in me said, “You’ve come this far, why not finish it?” So I did.

    Once it was complete, I wasn’t sure what to do with it. I decided to put it up for sale on a few forums and on my own website. To my surprise, it sold really well. That was a turning point: I realized WordPress could be more than just a development tool—it could be a full-fledged business model.

    Since then, I’ve developed and sold dozens of WordPress themes and plugins. WordPress has become the foundation of my work and the way I support my family. And it all started with one abandoned project that turned into a new direction for my career.
