The idea behind Kelex Labs comes from the kind of problems I work on in WordPress: the small gaps between what a website already does and what people need it to do next.

An event registration form is a good example. It collects the information and confirms the booking, but there’s another useful step: helping someone save the event to their calendar. That gap is the thinking behind SaveTheDate for Gravity Forms—taking a specific need and turning it into a focused tool.

For me, WordPress development is about making those connections. Understanding the workflow, finding the friction, and building something that belongs naturally within it.

Kelex Labs gives that work a home. Its name draws inspiration from Kelex, the caretaker of Superman’s Fortress of Solitude—a fitting reference for the software I want to build: useful, dependable, and quietly working behind the scenes.
