I got involved with WordPress not through a grand plan, but through a problem. As a student with ideas but no budget, I wanted a space to write, to build, to exist online. Coding everything from scratch felt like climbing Everest in flip-flops. Then WordPress showed up-simple, flexible, and quietly powerful. It felt like discovering a library that also lets you rearrange the walls.

I saw WordPress not just as a CMS, but as a democratizer-giving small voices the same digital stage as big brands. And honestly? I love rooting for the underdog.

So yes, my WordPress origin story is less superhero lightning strike, more late-night Googling, broken layouts, and quiet wins. But that’s the beauty of it. WordPress didn’t just teach me how to build websites-it taught me how ideas become platforms. And once you see that, there’s no going back.
