Profiles

It was back in 2008 when I first met WordPress. A web colleague had chosen WordPress for another business I was running and so I had to dip into it to administer the business. The more I dipped the more interested I became. I was building static sites at that point and so this was quite different. I became hooked as I discovered all the wonderful things I could do and control. Quite quickly all the sites I was building became WordPress sites – using themes at first and then child themes. A couple of years later and I was building my own. I had discovered WordCamps and so started another addiction. I now count being part of the WordPress Community as one of the most important areas of my life (after family). But, of course, the WordPress Community is family as well!
