    Nerd by day, musician by night! I love everything on the bleeding edge of technology, clean and well commented code, and awesome organic food/beer/wine/coffee. I have a soft spot for folks that are eager to learn technologies that I am familiar with so I am often found volunteering large chunks of my day or night helping people on freenode.net (#wordpress, #jquery, #node.js, and some others).

    In case you’re wondering… jphase is phonetic for “Jeff Hays” 😛

    PHP, Laravel, node.js, React, Vite, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, WordPress, jQuery, JavaScript, and most bleeding edge technologies and frameworks. I went to school for Computer Science, Music, and Mathematics.

    WordPress Origin Story

    After many moons of old, rickety, custom CMS’ that were piece mealed together with Smarty templates and other such monstrosities, I finally found WordPress in the late stages of the 1.x.x releases. I now love to find new custom things that I can create with WordPress and am an active member in the community.
