I own and operate Developing Designs, a WordPress Development agency in Tampa, Florida. We specialize in custom theme and plugin development, integrations, and the Genesis Framework.

Developing Designs is a recommended WordPress partner agency with Pantheon.

Interests

Learning! One of my favorite things to do is learning a new language or framework. It doesn’t even have to be that big of a feat. I’m close with my family and enjoy spending time with them. And I can’t get enough of my dog Buddy, He’s a long legged Jack Russell Terrier.

WordPress Origin Story

I started using WordPress three years ago when I started getting serious about development. I love the flexibility of WordPress and the extendability of the CMS. After all of these client sites I have never had to recommend another CMS/platform because the requirements will push the limits of WordPress.

I was fortunate as a Newbie developer. My first job as a developer was building client sites for a Marketing Agency here in Tampa, FL. This is where I was introduced to the Genesis Framework. After building a few sites using Genesis I never looked back.

At this stage of my life I have been contributing to open source and particularly within the GenesisWP community. This means I am answering questions on Facebook Genesis, Studiopress forums, etc. I have also published my first plugin to the WordPress Plugin Repository. It’s called Genesis Simple Footer Widgets.
