    Bio

    British by birth, Malagueño by heart. Jesse Naylor trained at the San Telmo School of Arts (Malaga) as a graphic designer and consolidated his knowledge at the University of Malaga, but his passion made him a specialist in programming, digital environments, AI, and technology. He is inspired by visionaries such as Ray Kurzweil and Elon Musk, who nurture his entrepreneurial streak and thirst for knowledge.

    Jesse Naylor co-organised five editions of TEDxMálaga and TEDxMalagueta, events that are part of the globally renowned TED Talks, dedicated to researching and sharing knowledge that matters through short talks and presentations.

    WordPress Origin Story

    A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… I used to hate WordPress!

    But then WordPress 3 came along… and I started to get quite fond of it. Nowadays, I build most of my websites on WordPress, custom-coding my themes from scratch—tailor-made for every project.

    I currently specialise in building ultra-optimised WordPress themes that achieve a perfect 100 score across the board on Google’s PageSpeed Insights test. I taught myself to do this because Core Web Vitals are now an essential part of SEO, which is one of the main points of even bothering to have a website in the first place.

    I ended up coding features that I thought would be worthy to share with other WordPress users, so I’m now shipping them as free plugins for the community to enjoy.
