    Bio

John Robert-Nicoud — Freelance Web Developer & Designer. I love building with WordPress and teaching others to do the same. Podcaster at @wp2, a WordPress podcast. But first, I’m a skateboarder.

    Interests

The Surf culture is my way of life since I am young – skateboarder, snowboarder, surfer when I can.
    I love Tech and Podcast.

    WordPress Origin Story

I discovered WordPress almost at its very beginning. Back then I had two choices: WP or DotClear — I picked the right one. From day one, I started tweaking it. My first need was to add a news section to an osCommerce shop, so I used WordPress to manage the posts and pull them into the e-commerce site. I’m still using it today. I’m now part of the community as a co-founder of the WordPress Lausanne meetup.
