Late one night, while having a sip of my Coke Zero, I was reading about web design and multimedia. I began looking through the catalog of classes that I would be attending and began to wonder what I would be doing in four years time. I began to look for a way to document my learnings and share with the world what I was going to be learning.

I was perusing the web when I stumbled upon a site that would allow me to create a free blog. I figured why not? I like that price. I began to write about my thoughts, my school life, work life and just things that would come across my mind.

Shortly after I realized that I was using a site that was running an instance of WordPress. I debated for several days on whether or not I wanted to build my own site.

I took the plunge and bought my own domain, installed WordPress, and began to explore the code. Then I wanted to create a theme and wanted to learn how WordPress worked, what you can do with it and what the limits are, so I registered on the forums. Shortly after I began reviewing themes to get a better understanding on how themes functioned. The support forums will be the one place I still return to and will occasionally look over a theme or two.
