WordPress Origin Story

I started working with WordPress while building websites for real clients and small businesses who needed reliable, scalable solutions rather than page-builder shortcuts. What began as simple site development gradually evolved into writing custom themes, extending functionality with plugins, and understanding how WordPress works internally.

As I gained experience, I became more interested in the engineering side of WordPress — hooks, actions, filters, performance considerations, and how core decisions impact millions of sites. This curiosity led me to explore the WordPress Core codebase and start contributing back to open source.

WordPress appealed to me because of its strong community, open development model, and real-world impact. My goal is to continue learning, contributing, and helping improve WordPress as a platform used by developers and businesses worldwide.
