OMG, I don’t think I can remember that far back. I “dabbled” in WordPress after my youngest was born and I left my cushy job in a law firm. At that time, the web was awash in really ugly websites that barely functioned without any wow factor at all. I figured either everyone was blind or I was a design genius and started my own web design business that I could do from home as a young mom. (Sound familiar?) Well, I did okay, designed a few beautiful sites (using Dreamweaver — shhh, it worked for me!) and sold some hosting plans but could not keep up with demand, couldn’t find a partner, and didn’t really operate a well-oiled machine. Mostly, I needed to get out of the house. (Does this sound like a blog?) Anyway, not much to it. WordPress sure has come a long way from those heady days, amirite? Glad to be back in your welcoming arms, so to speak.
