    WordPress Origin Story

    WordPress has been an embedded passion since 2008, when I discovered it after becoming exasperated with Joomla. While it took me many years to find the community of workers, volunteers and other enthusiasts driving it, once I did, it didn’t take long to then commit to assist, support and champion them as well as the project itself.

    Through the years, I’ve been involved in several things I’ve come to realize are the natural pathway of devotees – organizing WordPress fan groups; becoming a member of WordPress meetup groups; advocating for WordPress over other Content Management Systems with clients and at jobs; teaching others how to use WordPress, and deepening my learning of it continuously over the last 16 years.
