Bio

As an experienced professional in the communications and marketing space I ensure that your unique message reaches its intended audience through the development of clear vision, comprehensive strategies, and targeted campaigns.

My background in branding, communication strategy, digital marketing, writing, and website creation brings a powerful combination of skills needed to succeed in today’s noisy world. I have been an integral player in branding and re-branding efforts, new website development, and digital marketing strategies. I have extensive knowledge in WordPress, search engine optimization (SEO), and social media management.

I am a proficient supervisor, having managed a staff of creatives including writers, social media specialists, web managers, and videographers. Additionally, I have managed vendor relationships with graphic designers, film companies, and branding firms. I greatly enjoy the process of leading and collaborating with others to achieve ambitious goals.

Throughout my career I have cultivated my teaching and coaching abilities through a variety of settings, most notably lectures and presentations for large groups, discussion facilitation for small groups, personalized one-on-one sessions, and video webinars and tutorials.

WordPress Origin Story

I began using WordPress in 2007 (version 2.3) for my own personal blog. Soon after I began creating websites with WordPress for friends, non-profits, and small businesses. I’ve built dozens of websites with it since then. I’ve attended several WordCamps, both in Orlando and Denver.
