    Bio

    Grew up on my father’s farms, got degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Business and Land Surveying. (I know, that last one’s weird, but I wanted to get off my major muscle group and out into the forest and fields when I retired from 40 years of computer systems design, coding, etc and several in electronic engineering.
    Now I’m a blogger.

    WordPress Origin Story

    Joomla! wore me out so I switched to WordPress. This is not a criticism of Joomla!. I just didn’t need all the facilities it offered and the complexity always seemed to baffle me a bit – probably because I was not a full-time user of it.
    Meanwhile, WordPress is fantastic – so many options. The challenge here is finding the best ones among so many possibilities. Without the reviews and “More Details” it would be rather hopeless.
