I started using WordPress to build affiliate marketing blogs. Back then, I just needed a simple way to create websites that could make money online. WordPress seemed like the easiest option.
As I built more affiliate sites, I got really good at picking the right themes and plugins. I learned what worked and what didn’t. I spent hours tweaking my sites to get better conversions. Without realizing it, I was becoming an expert at WordPress.
After a while, I noticed something. I understood what regular WordPress users actually wanted, not just what developers thought they wanted. This gave me an idea.
I decided to switch from building affiliate sites to marketing WordPress products. It made perfect sense. I knew the problems that WordPress users faced because I had those same problems. I could talk to them in a way that felt real.
That decision changed everything. Over the past 6 years, I’ve worked with companies like BdThemes, Dorik, and weDevs. I’ve helped market plugins to thousands of WordPress users.
The funny thing is, those early affiliate blogs taught me more about WordPress than any course could. I learned by doing, by failing, and by figuring things out on my own.
