    Bio

    I am not an “IT person” in the corporate sense. For most of my life, I’ve worked in the public sector, and my mission is to make technology work for people who don’t care about IT culture. My project, no-it.ru, is dedicated to helping public sector employees master digital tools without the jargon.

    With a university degree in Biology (Genetics/Biochemistry) and a Data Science background, I bridge the gap between complex data and practical education. I manage IT for a regional educational center and teach AI to teachers. I’m a father of four, a minimalist, and a firm believer that WordPress should remain the most accessible tool for non-tech professionals.

    WordPress Origin Story

    My WordPress story is about finding a tool that respects the user. Since 2011, I’ve managed websites for public educational institutions. After years with Joomla, I switched to WordPress in 2017 because of its potential for simplicity.

    While I’m technically proficient (database administration and AI), I remain an “outsider” to mainstream IT culture. This allows me to see WordPress through the eyes of a teacher or a clerk who just needs to get things done. I advocate for Gutenberg and FSE because they bring professional design to those without a developer’s budget. My goal is to help WP stay true to its roots: empowering everyone, regardless of their technical background or location.
