    Hello — I’m Hence Wijaya, but you can call me Han. I design and code WordPress themes that are lightweight and practical. My mission is to help individuals and businesses establish a solid online presence and communicate effectively with their audiences.

    When I build WordPress plugins, I concentrate on addressing real user needs, enhancing site functionality and performance while keeping things simple for users.

    I also provide WordPress maintenance services to ensure sites run smoothly, stay secure, and remain up to date. Regular upkeep is vital for reliable performance and protection.

    WordPress Origin Story

    In 2008 Chris, founder of Firehost (now Armor.com), asked me to build his company blog. It had to be on WordPress, not Drupal, which I knew well. I was nervous but took the challenge.

    Learning WordPress felt like entering a new world. I explored its code, found it easy to use, and appreciated the supportive community. The project had challenges, but it helped me grow. The blog launched smoothly, and I was proud to see the client’s vision come to life.

    That project changed my direction. I discovered WordPress’s mix of user-friendliness and developer power. After the blog’s success, I decided to move from Drupal to WordPress. I dove into theme and plugin work and enjoyed the transition.

    I’m grateful for that chance meeting with Chris. Moving from Drupal to WordPress turned out to be a defining, rewarding step in my career and showed me the value of trying something new.
