My involvement with WordPress is a mix of being a long-time user and a problem-solving developer. For years, my background has been deeply rooted in the WordPress space—I’ve built and run my own WooCommerce stores and websites, giving me a firsthand understanding of the platform’s incredible power.

A few years ago, I ventured into app development and built a highly successful e-commerce revenue app for Shopify. It solved a real problem for merchants, and as our customer base grew, the feedback was fantastic. However, having operated WooCommerce stores myself, I knew there was a massive gap in the WordPress repository for a similar, highly optimized solution. Many existing tools were either bloated or lacked the seamless UI merchants needed.

Driven by my long-standing appreciation for the WordPress open-source ecosystem, I made the pivot. I created Ecomtrackify to bring the winning strategies and clean code I used in the Shopify space over to WooCommerce. Writing TipJoy for the WP/WC community feels like a homecoming, allowing me to finally give back to the platform I’ve loved and used from day one.
