It started on other people’s sites. Years of running WordPress blogs that had to stay fast, stay indexed and stay online, because somebody’s income depended on them. Over a decade of that, across thousands of sites.

The plugins came out of that work, not the other way around. Every one of them began as something we were already doing by hand, over and over, until building it properly became the obvious move.

RankReady exists because AI assistants started answering questions these blogs had already answered better, and there was no clean way inside WordPress to hand those assistants what they needed. So we built it: llms.txt, Markdown endpoints, schema, author signals, and control over which AI crawlers get what. Free on WordPress.org, because the sites that need it most are usually the ones not paying for tools.
