I started my journey building custom WordPress platforms for clients who couldn’t afford downtime or technical debt. As I took on more complex freelance projects, I found myself diving deeper into the core architecture, conducting Lighthouse performance audits, writing Python scripts to handle massive 18,000+ WooCommerce order migrations, and rescuing corrupted databases. I quickly realised that while WordPress is incredibly powerful, developers need better, more rigorous tools for local environments and server management. I started building my own solutions to reduce friction and future risk, which ultimately led me to start contributing my own tools back to the WordPress open-source community.
