Bio

We are hafenstudios, a small German plugin studio. Our rule: a plugin has to be understandable by the person running the site, not just by the developer who installed it. Guided setup instead of walls of options, strict capability checks instead of “admin can do everything”, and one interface language across the whole fleet.

2.3.1: consent banner no longer flashes on every page view for visitors who already decided. The markup ships with every page on purpose (page caches serve the same HTML to everybody), but its starting state was visible and the script that removes it sits far later in the document. A tiny inline snippet at the top of the head now hides it right away when a decision is stored. The banner stays visible by default on purpose: hiding it in the template and revealing it by script would take the choice away from anyone using an ad blocker, since frontend.js sits under plugins/hafenstudios-ads/. Also recognises banner markup in plain HTML blocks, not just the consent template.
