Internet & Web enthusiast since 1996/97, been working the ins and outs of this ever expanding universe. Also a WordPress afficionado since 2005 (circa version 2.0).

Wether its HTML coding, adapting WordPress templates and dwelling into CSS & PHP or helping out newcomers adapt to a new environment…. I guess I’m what you could call a facilitator.

Learning about new technology, WordPress, video games, comic books, sci-fi & fantasy literature, podcasting, music (post-hardcore, punk rock, synthwave, darksynth, etc.)

WordPress Origin Story

Stumbled upon a very early version of WordPress (version 1.5 if I’m not mistaken) while working on a new version of my then blog and concert photo websites. Finding it not to my “standards”, I decided to stick to my Notepad++ developed website based on tables *sigh*

A while later I came back and checked on WordPress which was now onto version 2.0 and decided it was time to jump in the water and I converted my personal site / blog and haven’t looked back since. By the time version 3.0 of WP came around, it was now flexible enough to migrated over my concert photo website. Since then, pretty much all my site, no matter the project nature, have been published using WordPress.

My implication with the community started in the mid 2010s when I started attending local WordCamps. It was a couple of years later – 2017 to be precise – that I decided to give my first talk.
