Director of Web Development at Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute.

I am full stack web developer, with a focus in transactional WordPress & matrix applications using APIs. I have worked with with individuals, SMB’s, federal, and corporate teams.

Jake Hawkes, I live in Victor, Idaho. I am located in a small but visually dramatic mountain community. Located west of Grand Teton National Park and an hour outside of Yellowstone National Park, my location has informed my aesthetic and identity. My avatars are bears or a jackalope, both are the subject of many tall campfire tales.

WordPress Origin Story

I first started learning WordPress when a ski resort website needed to transition from a .NET stack to an owned CMS. I worked with the agency, TMBR to manage the transition to WordPress and never looked back.
