In 2012 Italy passed a law that let apartment buildings publish their accounts and minutes on a website. Overnight, administrators who had never owned a domain needed one — and needed to keep it updated themselves, without asking anyone.

I came to WordPress because it was the only thing that could be a simple website and a small management system at the same time. I built the first site, then a plugin to handle the owners inside a building, then another for something else, then more. That is where I learned to do it properly.

I’ve been building with WordPress ever since — mostly plugins for the problems I keep running into on client sites.
