WordPress Origin Story

My journey started over 14 years ago when I began building websites with PHP, mostly for online gaming communities, forums, and service websites. While working on those projects, I became increasingly interested in programming and decided to teach myself everything I could.

Over the years, that curiosity turned into a career. I learned through documentation, open-source projects, and countless hours of practice. Eventually, I discovered WordPress and really enjoyed the freedom it gave me to build plugins, integrate APIs, and create solutions that people actually use.

I’m still learning, still building, and happy to be part of the WordPress open-source community.
