WordPress Origin Story

In 2006, Jamal Uddin Udoy, a young web designer, became frustrated with the limited blogging software available on the internet. He found that most of the options at the time were clunky, difficult to use, and lacked key features. At that time, he used wapka.mobi for blogging.

The following year, he learned about Joomla and decided to create something better. Udoy teamed up with me and Sourav Biswas, and we began to learn about CMS. We created several websites for other people and noticed that we were doing the same work on different websites. Some authors also wanted to customize a particular section of their websites.

We found WordPress to be the solution. I spent countless hours reading documentation, watching tutorials, and experimenting with code until I finally created my first plugin.

As I continued to develop and refine my plugins, I began to notice that other WordPress users were experiencing similar problems to what I had experienced. I started sharing my plugins with others, and before I knew it, I had a small following of users who appreciated my work.

Word of my plugins started to spread, and I began to receive requests for custom plugin development from businesses and individuals who wanted to add specific functionality to their WordPress sites. I seized the opportunity and started offering my services as a plugin developer, building a reputation for myself as an expert in the field.

Today, I have a portfolio of plugins that have helped countless WordPress users achieve their goals. My passion for WordPress and dedication to creating innovative solutions have made me a respected member of the WordPress community, and my work has helped shape the platform into the powerful tool it is today.
