I have been working with WordPress for more than two years now, off and on. (I have a day job) I LOVE WORDPRESS! I’ve build many websites in an effort to become more efficient and gain the experience I need to bring value to others.
I’m launching my own site in September-October 2014, providing Training and Tools to Help Others Build a Solid Foundation using WordPress.

WordPress Origin Story

My wife and I were looking for a way to make extra money in 2008. I signed with a Drop Shipper and built three sites using Prostores (owned by Ebay). When the economy collapsed, we were primed to have a great Christmas season with our stores. Sales immediately dropped to nothing. Over a six-month period we had to close our stores.

I began using YolaSite, Webs, and Weebly to build sites, just to learn HOW to do it, hoping to market my new skills and make some money. I even used Blogger and WordPress.com, but was never entirely satisfied with the features. I kept hearing about self-hosted WordPress, but felt it might be too complicated. Eventually, I decided to give it a try. I’ve never looked back!

I’ve probably tested over 200 themes, and just as many plugins. I’ve also discovered dozens of tools that compliment WordPress for building a business. I’ve purchased at least 15 themes, and 10-15 plugins. As far as I’m concerned, there is nothing out there that matches WordPress’ power and flexibility. I constantly hear others talking about other solutions, and proclaim how expensive they are, and point out their shortcomings. WORDPRESS FOREVER!!!
