    WordPress Origin Story

    I have no idea where to begin, really! I used to make all websites for myself from scratch. This included complex programming. But then for a time I ran a small and digital marketing business and people wanted to control their own website, not pay a web designer to do them. I tried a few CMSs and only WordPress seemed to tick all the boxes.

    Since my daughter was born, my already-bad chronic illness took a turn for the worst and I had to stop the business. But I started my own gaming blog and have taken up making plugins for myself again. Combining what coding I know with the in-built tools available, there’s almost nothing you can’t achieve.

    I don’t use block editing, though. I’m too much of a control freak for that, and I prefer Classic Editor and code!
