    Bio

    My interest in web development started in the early days of BTX (Bildschirmtext), Germany’s pre-internet online service. I was fascinated by the possibility of creating internet publications and developing user-friendly tools. This passion led me to become a web developer.

    After a brief detour with Joomla, I discovered WordPress and immediately recognized its potential. I fell in love with its flexibility and community. As website privacy regulations became increasingly important, I focused on developing tools that help website owners comply with GDPR and other data protection laws while maintaining an optimal user experience.

    This led me to create CCT4U (Cookie Consent Tool 4U) – a plugin that combines legal compliance with great UX. Today, I’m dedicated to developing WordPress plugins that make the web safer and more user-friendly.

    WordPress plugin development, GDPR compliance, cookie consent solutions, user experience design, data protection and security, open source contributions, programming, electric skateboarding, and long walks with my dog.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started working with WordPress for client projects in 2015 and quickly fell in love with its flexibility and community. After searching for a cookie consent solution that was both GDPR-compliant and user-friendly, I decided to develop CCT4U—a plugin that combines legal compliance with a great user experience.
    Now I focus on developing tools that make WordPress better for everyone.
