My journey into web development started way back in the 90s — yes, that long ago. I took courses in tools like FrontPage and later Dreamweaver, at a time when HTML was still in its early days, CSS was barely used, and WordPress didn’t even exist yet.

I don’t remember exactly when I discovered WordPress… maybe around 2010? What really impressed me was how quickly you could build a complete (and decent) website in no time. I was instantly hooked.

I got so into it that I even considered teaching WordPress to others, but that idea never really took off. Instead, I kept doing what I enjoy most: experimenting and figuring out how things work behind the scenes. I’ve always been curious like that — not as a professional, but as a passionate hobbyist. And honestly, that hasn’t changed.

Over the years, I’ve built all kinds of websites — from a pet spa to a local bar, shops, and sports-related sites. Each project was another chance to learn something new.

About four years ago, I discovered Divi — a theme with incredible possibilities. For me, it was the perfect combination: WordPress + Divi.

Recently, that same curiosity led me to start building my first plugin. Not because I had to, but simply to understand how it all works. And I’ll be honest — it’s not easy. But with a bit of persistence (and some help from AI), you can get surprisingly far.
That curiosity eventually turned into Sparkle for Divi — a plugin built from the simple idea of making websites just a little more fun and visually engaging.
