I lead the development team at InspiryThemes, which builds premium WordPress themes and plugins. My main product is RealHomes, a real estate theme with 33,000+ sales, along with its plugin ecosystem: Cloud Studio (a cloud template library with one-click import), CRM, Vacation Rentals, and several payment add-ons.

I built most of these from scratch. I also designed our updater API and licensing system, which handles automatic updates, domain binding, and secure tokenized downloads. Day-to-day, I split my time between architecture, hands-on development, code review, and technical support for customers worldwide.

Built premium WordPress themes for real estate, medical, business and restaurant sites, including MedicalPress (4,500+ sales) and RealPlaces (3,500+ sales). Added RealHomes features like property analytics, advanced search filters, Google Maps with clustering and geolocation, payment plugins and paid memberships. Set up Gulp build tasks, added translation support, and worked on performance and security.

Answered support tickets and forum questions, working directly with customers to understand and fix their problems. Also did paid customizations and third-party integrations for clients. This is where I moved from front-end into PHP and WordPress back-end work.

Built user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS) and JavaScript. Worked on early WordPress theme development with a focus on responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Worked on client websites, turning design mockups into working pages with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Used Photoshop to slice designs and make graphic adjustments.
