Hi, I’m John (EzzyJohn).

I have over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in frontend and backend development, cloud infrastructure, enterprise systems, and web technologies. Throughout my career, I’ve worked on building scalable applications, developing WordPress solutions, and designing reliable infrastructure that supports businesses of all sizes.

I’m passionate about creating practical, lightweight, and user-friendly software that solves real-world problems. My focus is on developing tools that improve user experience while following modern development standards and best practices.

Today, I’m also exploring the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence (AI), continuously learning how to integrate AI into web applications and digital platforms to build smarter, more efficient solutions. I believe AI will play a significant role in the future of software development, and I’m committed to growing alongside this rapidly evolving technology.

Outside of development, I enjoy sharing knowledge, contributing to the open-source community, and building products that help businesses and individuals succeed online.

WordPress Origin Story

My journey with WordPress began as a way to build websites more efficiently for clients and businesses. Coming from a background in software development and IT infrastructure, I was drawn to WordPress because it provided a flexible platform that allowed me to combine custom development with rapid deployment.

Over the past 20+ years in the IT industry, I’ve worked across frontend and backend development, cloud infrastructure, enterprise systems, and web technologies. Throughout that time, WordPress has been one of the tools I’ve consistently returned to because of its strong community, extensibility, and open-source philosophy.

As I continued building websites, I found myself creating custom solutions to solve recurring problems. That naturally led me into plugin development. My first public plugin, EzzyJohn App-Style Mobile Navigation, was born from a simple idea: bring a modern, mobile app-like navigation experience to WordPress websites without unnecessary complexity.

Today, I’m expanding my focus beyond traditional web development by exploring Artificial Intelligence and how it can be integrated into WordPress and modern web applications. I enjoy learning, building, and contributing back to the open-source community, and I’m excited to continue creating tools that make WordPress even better.

I believe the best software is simple, useful, and built with the people using it in mind.
