Bio

I have been wrangling websites since the late 90’s, and first met WordPress in 2009. With over 20 years of multimedia experience, I have a passion for bringing ideas to life by helping people communicate through online mediums.

My family has only recently returned to the United States, having lived in Italy for seven wonderful years. I love my family, coffee, spicy food, more coffee, and if you don’t find me sitting at my computer enjoying work, you’ll find me sitting at my computer enjoying PC games.

Interests

Coffee. Spicy food – especially Mexican. People. PC gaming. WordPress. Friends. Family. Not usually in this order.

WordPress Origin Story

I jumped on the WordPress train at the 2.7 station. I had just taken on a new web project that I knew would need some sort of CMS. I “shopped” around for several solutions – the usual suspects – so naturally WordPress came to the surface. While at the time it was a heavy blogging based CMS, it was showing great potential to reach past that niche. Couple that with the fact that the learning curve was manageable and it had an amazing community around it, choosing WordPress was an easy choice.
