WordPress Origin Story

I started working with WordPress because I began my web journey as a coder, so being able to modify my own themes and yet still have the power of a CMS really suited me. That was about 10 years ago. After years of creating my own custom themes, I learnt PHP and started to really become familiar with WordPress functions. I then discovered that creating a plugin was a really great way of keeping a set bit of functionality neatly in one packaged place, and now, I just can’t stop making plugins! I love it so much, I find a need to do it all the time, it just works and makes everthing in my theme and website building so much easier. I use plugins I have made on new sites I built as and when I need to. I have only published one plugin on the repository, but plan on getting most of the plugins I have created up and live in time,
